The Botanical Magazine ; or Flower-Garden
Displayed, is an illustrated botanical magazine that began in 1787. It
ran under that title until 1801, when it was renamed Curtis's Botanical
Magazine. It is still issued today, making it the longest running
botanical magazine.

Curtis's Botanical Magazine is said by some sources to have
begun publishing in 1787. However, the Georgia archive below includes a
copy of Volume 1 with a publication date of 1790. This may reflect a
later printing. It is still published today. (The modern incarnation
of the magazine dates from the 1980s).
